Cool Game for Sci-Fi Fans
POPGOES is an independent game that has been created by gaming geeks for gaming geeks. While the game is mainly of the point and click variety, strategy also plays a strong part here, while interacting with the brightly coloured main characters and watching them create havoc can be a real joy.
Getting Your Geek On
The action in POPGOES takes part in a futuristic pizza restaurant and the main aim of the game is to survive seven days in this establishment. Although this may sound easy at first, there are of course plenty of hazards and obstacles that will either send characters running in fear or put them in serious peril. There are plenty of bad guys in the game that have to be avoided such as the seemingly cute but ultimately evil Squirrel Sisters and each character has various different strengths and weaknesses.
The Future is Now
The cool artwork and futuristic touches are sure to appeal to anyone who has a love for independent games and the strong storyline combined with a large cast of diverse characters gives POPGOES plenty of appeal. While there is a rather in depth storyline, this ultimately means that it can take several minutes for gamers to check out the back story and understand what is going on, which could be a drawback for anyone who has a short attention span.
